To remove (deburring) sharp edges and marks on the parting plane, we perform mechanical wet smoothing in drums and vibrating machines. Based on the specific need and the desired result of the product surface, grinding or polishing grinding bodies made of various materials are added to the vibrating grinding drum, such as ceramic abrasive stones of various sizes and shapes, stainless steel balls and bodies for a finer and smoother surface. It is a method of mechanical treatment of the surface of small objects, the surface of which is processed by mutual grinding. The products are rolled in drums, whereby they are sanded or polished, with the greatest removal being on the edges and corners and the smallest on flat surfaces. Tempering the products increases safety when touching and guarantees uniform preparation for subsequent surface treatment. Tempering is a key step that guarantees a safe, smooth and aesthetic Slovak final product.
