Galvanic surface treatments – Chrome Nickel Brass

Galvanic plating, galvanic surface treatment, galvanic, chrome plating

We perform galvanic plating using hanging technology, an electrochemical process (electrolysis), in which galvanic micron layers of copper, nickel, chromium metals are applied to the surface of a magnetically conductive material using a direct current in the range from 10A to 1500A, which results in excellent protection against corrosion, an increase in the hardness of the product and a beautiful decorative appearance.

In order to achieve the mirror shine of chrome, nickel, and brass, it is important that prior to galvanic surface treatment at our KNK-zamac plant, pre-treatment takes place by removing impurities, oxides and grease, ensuring the chemical activity of the surface and creating conditions for optimal adhesion of the galvanic coating, which is represented by the technological process of chemical and electrochemical cleaning of the surface after mechanical treatment, for example by polishing, or when achieving a high-quality appearance even during galvanization and therefore also after re-polishing the already copper-plated product.

We offer a wide range of galvanic surface treatments using hanging technology, such as chrome, matte chrome, shiny nickel, matte nickel, black nickel, patina on brass or copper, or brass with its subsequent varnishing, or just pure copper.
